Playground Marking Design & Installation 

Once an enquiry has been made from a school or local authority first4playgrounds will arrange a site visit to your school anywhere in the UK. During our site visit we will carry out a measured survey of the playground area and discuss the individual requirements of your school.


Whitlea primary School in Cardiff requested a full installation of playground markings and sports pitches to cover a larhe play area. This picture shows the 12 times table being burned onto the tarmac with the sun and planets of the solar system in the front of the picture.


​This playground design in Glasgow, scotland included a fitness circuit, a cycle proficiency track, a full size netball court and a collection of mazes and activity trails. The school also wanted a number of evenly divided coloured lines across the play area to be used for interval training as well as demarking areas of the play area.


Walton First School near Morpeth in Northumberland had very specific design requirements for their playground which included a combination of remarking of painted markings and adding a mini football and short tennis court. The also split the playground immprovements into two phases to allow for a fund raising event after phase one was completed in order to raise the money for phase two of the project.


Gibside Special Educational Need School in Wickham Tyne & Wear designed their playground with first4playgrounds with specific requests from their children including a shark adventure trail, a bike track, mini football pritch and a number of traditional games, clocks and compasses. The also wanted different coloued line and solid shapes spread all around the playground.


St Joseph's Primary School in Liverpool had very scpecific design requirements for both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 playgrounds. Based mainly on a geography learning theme both play areas has UK and word maps as well as sports court markings, snakes and ladders and times tables.


Cross Ash Primary School as us to design a cycle proficiency track to go around a netball court with a number of traditional markings within the court. The cycle track measured approximately 100m and started and finished at the same point.
