first4playgrounds installation team recently completed a range of Thermoplastic Playground Markings in Scotland.

1-10 Snake

Firstly our team installed this 1-10 Snake. This is a great addition to any primary school play area as it teaches the young learners simple numeracy in a fun environment, it also looks great and really brightens up the yard.

Next our team installed this classic Hopscotch. This is also a great marking for younger students learning numeracy and is one of our most popular markings, the children love it!!

Jump Lines

Next our team installed these jump lines. This is a great way to get kids active.

Kart Track

Next the team installed this Kart Track. This is used for Karts and Scooters. As you can see here they can be designed to fit any play area, with even the littlest amount of space.

Lastsly the team installed this Grid.

Firstly, we installed this Dance Class. The Dance class is a great interactive game for Primary School children of all ages.

Next we installed this Olympic Sprint and this Multi-Court.

As you can see these two Markings look great together and really brighten up the yard. Not only this but both markings allow for structured Physical Education and sports learning to take place. This is a great help to any school.

Maths Maze

Firstly we installed This Maths Maze. The maths maze is a great tool for teaching children mathematics, and keeps children active and healthy.  Children have to work their way around the maze and do the correct mathematics when they arrive at each number station, the Maths Maze can be fitted to apply to all levels of difficulty, and is a great teaching marking for any year.

Next the team installed these Number Ladders.

These number Ladders, installed in multiples of 2, 5 and 10, are a great tool for children learning their times tables, and keep children interested and active.

Premium Funding Multi Court at Butterknowle Primary School County Durham

Premium Funding Multi Court Butterknowle Primary School

Butterknowle Primary School in West Aukland, County Durham have just yesterday had first4playgrounds install a full size Multi Court (Basketball/Football/Netball).

The Government in England has provided additional premium funding of over £150 million per annum since 2013/14 to improve PE and school sport in primary schools. From September 2017, the funding will be doubled to enable primary schools to make further improvements to the quality and breadth of the PE and sport they offer.

This Multi-Court meets all three of the required Ofsted criteria needed when spending the Premium Funding. Not only that but it is a great marking to have at any school as it allows for structured sport learning to take place.

Our tracks and circuits are designed to be used by bikes and scooters. They can incorporate roundabouts, zebra crossings, parking bays, stop signs, traffic lights as well as an assortment of other graphics such as schools, houses garages, petrol stations as well as houses and trees, for example this lollypop person!
