Playground Markings at Birtley East Primary School
first4playgrounds installation team have just completed a range of Thermoplastic Playground Markings at Birtley East Primary School in Gateshead, Newcastle-Upon Tyne. These markings consisted of a Cycle Track and a School logo.
The team started by marking out the Cycle Track.
Once the track had been marked out and was suitably fitted the team began to lay the lines.
Then the team began adding the roundabouts, traffic lights and zebra crossings.
After completing the track and adding the last final touches, the yard had been completely transformed into an exciting play area for the children to return to in September.
Once the Houses, Trees and other finishing touches had been added the Track looked great! The Cycle Track is a great addition to any School Playground because it is loved by all the children who play on them.
Finally the team installed the school logo outside the main entrance of the school.

Playground Markings in Paisley, Scotland
first4playgrounds installation team just recently completed a range of Thermoplastic Playground Markings. At a Primary School in Paisley, Scotland. This consisted of a Cycle Proficiency Track and full size football court. Inside the Football court were two smaller courts, Volleyball and Netball.

Firstly the team installed this full size Football Court. Inside of this two smaller courts have been installed, Volleyball and Netball.
Next the team installed this Cycle Proficiency Track with a 30 meter roundabout.
Cycle Proficiency Track
The Cycle Proficiency Track is a great addition to any school playground. Allowing the children to practice road safety in a safe area. This means children can gain road confidence before going onto actual roads. Tracks can be manipulated to fit any school play area.
Playground Markings in Dundee
first4playgrounds installation team recently completed a range of thermoplastic playground markings in Dundee. These bright and colourful markings really lit up the school playground.
The first of these markings was a Football/Netball Multi-Court. This is a great addition to any school playground. Outdoor sports courts that can last for up to ten years!
Secondly we installed this Traditional Hopscotch. This markings is very popular throughout Primary Schools in the UK.
Thirdly our team installed this Alphabet Spiral. This is a brilliant game for young children learning and practicing literacy and the alphabet. Letters can be connected by solid coloured lines or alternating coloured dots. This is a very smart looking marking for any playground. It is also a great tool for teachers.
Bulls eye Target in Dundee
Lastly this Bulls eye Target was installed. Not only is this a great fun game for children to play and compete, it is also an excellent way for young children to practice numeracy. By adding up and comparing scores.
Muirkirk Primary School recently had a school competition to design a playground marking game for their school playground. Kyle Sharp, the winner of the completion, from class P 6/7, designed a Ludo game. This great idea and a well put together design with instructions included, won the competition.

Playground Markings at Dumfries and Galloway
first4playgrounds installation team just completed a range of thermoplastic playground markings at a Primary School in Dumfries and Galloway in Scotland.
1-144 Times Table Grid
The first of these markings was a 1-144 Times Table Grid. This is a great tool for primary school children of all ages learning times tables and numeracy.
Secondly the team installed this fitness trail. The fitness Trail is becoming increasingly more popular throughout schools in the UK. This is a great way to keep children active and fit. The children follow the trail performing each of the actions instructed as they arrive at that station e.g. “Press Ups x10”.
Ludo, Smiley Face Clock and Alphabet Spiral.
Lastly this Ludo, Smiley Face Clock and Alphabet Spiral. Kyle Sharp of Class P 6/7 designed the game. Kyle’s design for the Ludo game from scratch won a school competition and his game was chosen and used on the playground.
