Playground Markings -New Maps for curriculum changes

first4playground are introducing  new  uk and world maps to support the teaching of the new Geography curriculum. Key stage 1 children will now be required to learn  about the capital cities and the main rivers of the uk and also  the location of the continents, the Equator and North and South Poles on the world map. Key stage 2 children will learn about  the main  UK rivers, capital cities and counties. They will also learn on the world map the  equator , Tropic of Cancer,  longitude and latitude , northern and southern hemispheres  and north and south poles.

Our new maps can   facilitate the learning of  these  new curriculum requirements for ,  ks1 and ks2  in a fun and imaginative way , the maps help spelling and word  recognition as well as helping the children identify rivers,  counties seas and  continents. The school playground is an ideal learning resource  where children can learn through play. Our website has more information on these new UK and world maps at www.first4playgrounds.co.uk
