first4playgrounds.co.uk have just completed another installation of playground markings at Saint Mary’s Roman catholic Primary School in Stanley, County Durham.
The school wanted us to design an Exercise Trail for the children to use at break as well as during their PE lessons. They also required some traditional markings including Sunflower Hopscotch, a Rocket Hopscotch and a 0-20 Dragon.
Teacher Mrs Soultar was very please with the work done by first4playgrounds she gave us this glowing referral:
“We are extremely pleased with the service and outcome! The children were amazed to see your colourful designs and it has really breathed a new lease of life into a ‘tired’ playground. Thanks again – we would certainly recommend you to other schools who may be looking to invest in improving their outside area.”
first4playgrounds have just completed a substantial thermoplastic installation of playground markings and sports court markings at Peter Lea Primary School in Cardiff. The playground design was a prepared by the school teachers and school council to include some sports court markings, a number of traditional markings and some bespoke markings.
The markings included a word map showing the continents and oceans, a UK map, the planets of the solar system which will be used for science and geography lessons. For maths lessons we provided a 1-100 solid grid for the younger children and a 12 times table line grid for the Key Stage 2 children. For the PE lessons we installed a rounders court, cricket pitch, football pitch and netball court. To make the goal areas stand out we painted the tarmac with a high quality water-based acrylic coating for macadam supplied by Britannia Paints.

The landlord of the offices approached us to see if we could use our thermoplastic products as car park markings. The existing parking bays were worn out and there were also issues with parking illegally outside the parking bays.
We installed 27 parking bays and double yellow lines to three separate areas.
The cost per parking bay subject to site survey is £45.00 plus VAT for 100mm lines and 4.8m x 2.4m bay. Please contact us for prices for double yellow lines, disabled bays and all other enquiries.
