Playground Markings in Cambridge

Cambridge Playground Markings Photos

We were instructed to carry out the installation of thermoplastic playground markings at Saint Cuthbert’s Primary School in Cambridge. The markings included a Target Dartboard, a Bullseye Target, an a-z Spiral, a 1-25 Spiral and a 1-00 Snakes and Ladders playground game.

In one corner of the play area we install a scale plan of a house showing the downstairs with a kitchen and a living room, and an upstairs with two bedrooms and a bathroom.

Around all the markings we installed a cycle track so the children could safely play with their bikes. We included two zebra crossings so the children could cross the cycle track.

New Playground Markings for Special Needs School in Yorkshire

Last week first4playgrounds completed an installation of Playground Markings at a Welburn Hall Special School in North Yorkshire. The markings were installed on recently replaced tarmac play area which included a 1-25 Crocodile, a Rocket Hopscotch and What’s the Time Mr Wolf game. We also provided an a-z Snake from a classroom door to the playground as well as a sunflower hopscotch and rainbow in the sensory garden area.

During the installation the children were excited and enthralled with the new additions to their playground areas. They were a polite, happy group of children who provided  our workmen with a continuous supply of cups of tea and cakes throughout the job.

At first4playgrounds we would like to say a big thank you to all of them especially the boy who provided the meringue cakes! The school were so please with their new playground markings the headteacher sent us the following reference:

“Many thanks for the professional, efficient and speedy way that you and your team carried out the playground markings here at Welburn Hall School. The pupils are really pleased with the end result and could not wait to play on them. Every time I come past the playground all of the games are in use and the children are having great fun.

Thank you for taking the time to explain to our very interested pupils what you were doing and how it would work. For our class 3 who are looking at Materials Changing in Science it was a brilliant learning opportunity! The work was carried out to a high standard by pleasant and affable workmen, I would not hesitate to recommend your company to colleagues or to invite you back to Welburn Hall to create more play opportunities. Thank you again.”
